Recently, a cooperation of Jian ZHANG’s group and Yajie ZHANG’s group from Ningbo Institute of Materials Technology and Engineering, CAS, have successfully developed an acidic zeolite L for efficient dehydration of fructose to 5-hydroxymethylfurfural in ionic liquid.

Professor Jian Zhang and his group in Ningbo Institute of Materials Technology and Engineering, CAS have successfully introduced secondary metal ions (Co3+) into the framework sites of K-OMS-2 to enhance the catalytic activity for CO oxidation under real wet conditions. 

MXenes were demonstrated to show widespread potential applications in energy storage, reinforcement for composites and conductive materials, and etc.
