Our research is expected to elucidate the structure-activity relationship, fabricate efficient catalysts with novel structures, and create green processes for the mass production of energy chemicals. The reaction turnover to a desired product is promoted via duplicating the most active centers or introducing additional physical fields like electricity, light or magnetism. The division of Energy and Environmental Catalysis concentrates on new adsorption/storage/separation materials, non-metal catalysts, electrocatalytic processes and pollutant treatment technologies for the development of biomass and hydrogen economy.
