According to the growing requirements for energy storage due to the rapid development of electric vehicles, NIMTE is devoted to developing advanced materials for next-generation high-energy-density Li batteries, which will achieve a breakthrough in long-range electric vehicles. In more detail, NIMTE focuses on R&D of Li-rich layered oxide cathodes, silicon/carbon composite anodes, lithium/carbon composite anodes, graphene-based electrode materials, and new-type electrolytes.
