Functional materials in devices and systems are one of the main purposes for developing advanced manufacturing technologies. Our current research efforts include photoelectric materials and detecting devices as well as thermoelectric materials and devices. To meet the requirements of the national long-term energy-saving, environmental and economic strategies, we will focus on CT detectors and environmental energy devices to make breakthroughs based on advanced functional materials. Moreover, we will make concentrated efforts to transfer those technologies into industrial applications.
