The research center focuses on the laser-based and hybrid precision manufacturing, including additive manufacturing, laser synthesis of new materials, laser macro machining, laser micro/nano fabrication with tailored light fields, laser welding, drilling, surface engineering, hybrid manufacturing processes and low-carbon manufacturing.
