Recently, the National Intellectual Property Administration (NIPA) announced the winners of the 23rd China Patent Award, the nation's top award for patents. Two patents from NIMTE won the China Patent Award, with one silver award, i.e., "A molybdenum disulfide/lead titanium alloy nano-multilayer film and its preparation method" (ZL201611033386.1), and one award of excellence, i.e., " omni-directional mobile handling robot" (ZL201610658548.4).
"A molybdenum disulfide/lead titanium alloy nano-multilayer film and its preparation method" has provided a novel approach to prepare multilayer films for service in vacuum environments with an extended life. This technology has been widely applied in the rocket, satellite, Shenzhou crewed spacecraft and other space equipment moving parts, yielding significant social benefits.
"Omni-directional mobile handling robot" can directly reach the bottom of the goods, and transport goods quickly, efficiently and intelligently by virtue of the lifting mechanism, thus improves the handling efficiency and reduces the logistics cost, which shows broad market prospects in the warehousing and logistics industry.
The China Patent Award has been co-organized by the NIPA and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) since 1989, which has promoted the high-quality development of patents in China. The award aims to encourage and reward applicants, inventors and designers who have made outstanding contributions to technological innovation as well as economic and social development. NIMTE's extensive implementation measures for the intellectual property strategy, as well as the in-depth focus on the cultivation and industrial application of high-value patents, can account for the prominent patent achicvements of NIMTE over the years.
