Prof. GE Ziyi from the Ningbo Institute of Materials Technology and Engineering (NIMTE), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), has been elected as Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC) in recognition of his research contributions.
In recent years, he has made a series of innovative achievements in the fields of high-efficiency organic/perovskite solar cell materials and flexible devices, and OLED luminous materials.
Prof. GE dedicated himself in the field of high-efficiency organAic photovoltaic (OPV) /perovskite solar cell materials and flexible devices, organic light emitting diode (OLED) luminous materials as well as conductive polymer functional materials, yielding a series of innovative achievements.
Up to now, Prof. GE has published more than 160 journal papers cited in the Science Citation Index (SCI), including Nature Photonics, Chem. Soc. Rev., Adv. Mater., Angew. Chem.,etc., and participated in editing four monographs. He has applied for over 40 invention patents, and presided over a number of scientific research projects, including the National Key Research and Development Program of China and 7 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
In addition, Prof. GE is the recipient of some prestigious fellowships and awards, such as the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars of China. He served as the Editorial Board Member of journals such as Science China Chemistry, InfoMat, and The Innovation, etc., the chairman of the International Conference on Organic Optoelectronics (ICOOE). He has been invited to deliver more than 40 reports at prestigious global academic conferences.
As the oldest chemical society in the world, the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) which was founded in 1841 in the UK, is now one of the most influential academic associations around the world. Each year the RSC committee selects scientists globally based on the recommendation of expertise and awards fellow status to those who have made outstanding achievements and boosted the development of chemistry.
