Professor Andy Chan, Director of Research, Department of Civil Engineering, the University of Nottingham, Malaysia Campus, accompanied by the faculty from the Department of Research, University of Nottingham, Ningbo Campus visited NIMTE on November 30, 2012. Professor Liang Chen, deputy head of NIMTE Research Development hosted their visit. 

The trilateral meeting started from the introduction on NIMTE made by Liang Chen, and in turn, Andy Chan delivered a presentation on the University of Nottingham, Malaysia Campus and their related research work. He also expressed his expectation, on behalf of the university, to seek a potential cooperation in various ways with NIMTE in order to earn a win-win situation in materials research field.

Liang Chen was supportive of the trilateral cooperation and declared that NIMTE would like to provide any kind of assistance to the trilateral exchange and collaboration as long as the scientists reach an agreement on what they will do jointly for trilateral benefit. (Xuxia Zhao reports.)
