The International Conference on Emerging Advanced Nanomaterials 2012，hosted by the Australian Institute for Bioengineering and Nanotechnology, was held in Brisbane, Australia on October 22-25, 2012.  Dr. Xufeng Zhou from NIMTE attended the conference and was invited to give a talk.　

The conference brings together the scientists who were active in the fields of advanced nano and biomaterials, especially optronic,

photovoltaic, magnetic, organic, porous, composite, computational, sensor, battery, fuel cell, catalytic and biomaterials from all over the world. It provides opportunities to share the knowledge and  developments on the above fields through the presentations given by researchers on key research areas and challenges. It consists of 8 plenaries, 34 keynotes and 250 invited lectures from the pioneers in the field of nanomaterials.

Dr. Xufeng Zhou, from the Advanced Batteries Research Group (Group Url: http://english.nimte.cas.cn/rh/rd/battery/) gave a presentation in the conference focused on “graphene-based nanocomposites for energy storage”, which briefly introduced the recent progress achieved in NIMTE on the application of graphene for energy storage devices such as Li ion batteries, supercapacitors and Li-S batteries.
