Ningbo Industrial Technology Research Institute (NITRI) completed Project of Product Detection Equipment Based on Machine Vision on 27th May. This project was entrusted by Ningbo Changqi Plastic CO., LTD. The main achievement of the project was a system of automatic train identification applied in enterprises automatic production lines. The acceptance check was executed under the Chairman Ao Qi Li ofChangqi. The detection speed was as high as 205 articles per minute and the recognition rate was 99.5%.

  It was understood that Machine Vision using computer vision system which was constituted of computer and associated hardware was an emerging technology. The Machine Vision System can completely replace manual labor and improve product quality with advantages such as high precision, fatigue-resistant, high speed, low cost and so on. Ningbo Industrial Technology Research Institute will hold a technology exchange meeting to bring the advanced technology into more industries and NITRI will provide better services for local economic development.
