From 17th to 19th December 2008,the first session of CAS innovative research international partnership meeting on functional oxide materials and application was held at NIMTE. The conference exposed the graduate students on the research status of the functional oxide materials and devices as well as the cutting-edge researches．It reinforced the cooperation between the domestic and foreign team members. With the support of the International Partners Plan of Innovation Team,we believed the team will make significant research achievements in the functional oxide materials and applications.

On 23th February 2009,the signing ceremony of the PVD Engineering Research Center was held at Huzhou International Hotel. Director Ping Cui on behalf of NIMTE congratulated the success of the cooperation and praised the rapid development of Huzhou City over the last five years. Currently it is capable of processing and producing more than 8000 tons of various kinds of stainless-steel decorative panels per year．It is a major enterprise in the domestic stainless-steel decorative panel industry.
