Crystalline silicon solar cell, perovskite/tandem solar cell, nitride/oxide-based wide bandgap semiconductor
YE Jichun received his Bachelor's degree from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2001 and his Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Califomia, Davis in 2005. From 2006 to 2012, he served as a Senior Engineer at several U.S. companies, inchuding AMD/Spansion Inc., Calisolar Inc., and Alta Devices Inc.. In 2012, he joined the Ningbo Institute of Materials Technology and Engineering, where he leads the High-Eficiency Solar Cells & Wide-Bandgap Semiconductors Group. His research focuses on tunnel oxide passivated contact (TOPCon) solar cells, perovskite/silicon tandem solar cells, perovskite/Cu(InGa)Se2 tandem solar cells, and UV light-emitting diodes, lasers, and detectors.
