In recent years, more and more attention has been paid to the marine economy, which accounts for over 10% of the GDP. Higher application requirements for new marine materials in national marine engineering equipment are expected to be put forward in the next five to ten years. Our research focuses on the fundamentals of materials mechanics, materials chemistry and surface/interface science in the ocean. We have developed various high-quality materials and protection technologies with independent intellectual properties for marine use, and resolved current problems of materials and mechanics in marine environments.
