State Key Laboratory of Advanced Marine Materials
The laboratory addresses the major demand for key service materials in China's marine engineering and high-tech equipment sectors. Our research focuses on the significant scientific issues arising from the interaction between complex marine environments and materials. The laboratory aims to develop innovative methods and transformative technologies for creating key marine materials and systematically solve the problem of autonomous control of these materials. Its goal is to become a global hub for marine materials innovation and a center of talent, supporting China's strategic layout in the South China Sea, deep sea, and polar regions.
