Prof. Kazuhito Nishimura, a foreign academician at the Ningbo Institute of Materials Technology and Engineering (NIMTE) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), was honored with the 2025 Chinese Government Friendship Award for his exceptional contributions to China's advancement in the field of cutting-edge materials.

Recently, Prof. CHENG Yufeng from the State Key Laboratory of Advanced Marine Materials at the Ningbo Institute of Materials Technology and Engineering (NIMTE), Chinese Academy of Sciences, was conferred the prestigious Research Excellence Award (lifetime recognition) by the Canadian Metallurgy and Materials Society (MetSoc) during its 64th Annual Conference, in recognition of his lifetime contributions to the materials filed.
